Problem description: | |
If Tivoli SA MP is being upgraded via the DB2 installer from v2 to v3 and a RSCT peer domain exists, Tivoli SA MP cannot be upgraded. However, an error message is not shown in the log file. After applying the fix, if TSA cannot be upgraded because a RSCT peer domain exists, the following error will be displayed in the log file: "The DB2 install could not update the IBM Tivoli System Automation for Multiplatforms Base Component (SA MP Base Component) because there exist one or more IBM Reliable Scalable Cluster Technology (RSCT) peer domains. You must manually update the SA MP Base Component. For information about manually updating the SA MP Base Component, see the SA MP Base Compoenent Installation and Configuration Guide." | |
