POTENTIAL HANG IN GATEWAY ENVIRONMENT DURING APPLICATION INTERRUPT
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
There is a potential hang in a gateway environment during an application interrupt. The symptom includes the gateway instance agent holding the m_appServLatch latch while appearing idle. However, if the agent is in the tcprecv function call, it may be waiting for a response from the remote instance. If something interrupts the response, the agent holding the latch may wait indefinitely. A potential stack for the agent holding the latch: tcprecv sqlcctcprecv sqlccrecv sqljcReceive sqljrDrdaArInterrupt sqleInterruptGatewayAgent sqeAgent::InterruptAgent sqleInterruptApplication sqeAppServices::InterruptAppByIndex
