DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC75315 | Status: Closed |
HISTORICAL ANALYSIS OF A TABLESPACE HAS TOTAL SIZE SHOWING AS NEGATIVE VALUE IN CONTROL CENTER
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
The calculation for Total Size is: Total Size(in bytes) = totalPages in bytes (the value being shown at the Historical Analysis Screen) * pageSize in bytes (the value being shown at the Historical Analysis screen) Total Size (in MB) = Total Size (in bytes) / MB unit In cases where Total Pages is very large, this calculation can result in a very large number which displays as a negative value. This is because an integer type is being used to store the total page value and the value is too large for the integer type.
