Under rare conditions, during query compilation, the query compiler fails to handle an out of STMTHEAP condition. When the problem is encountered, you might observe one of the following outcomes: 1. A trap in function sqlno_iext_idx_search_method, or sqlno_find_key_preds with a stack of: sqlno_iext_idx_search_method sqlno_find_key_preds sqlno_btree_preds sqlno_index_scan sqlno_crule_index_scan ... sqlno_top_qtb sqlno_each_qur sqlno_scan_qgm sqlno_planning_scan sqlno_planning_phase sqlno_exe sqlno_exe sqlnn_cmpl 2. An error sqlcode -901. | |

The likelihood of experiencing this problem is increased if the STMTHEAP database configuration parameter is set to AUTOMATIC (a feature available in DB2 starting with V9.5). If this is the case, modify STMTHEAP to a manual value without the AUTOMATIC attribute. | |
