DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC77028 Status: Closed

APPLICATION_ID IN LIST APPLICATIONS HAS TRUNCATED TIMESTAMP IF IP ADDR OF
CLIENT HAS SEVERAL 3 DIGIT PARTS EG, 192.168.100.100

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description:
If the IP address of a Db2 client has several 3 digit parts, eg
192.128.100.100 then the timestamp which is shown as part of the
application_ID field of the "db2 list applications show detail"
command or by using the MON_GET_CONNECTION table-function will
be truncated from the correct length of 12 digits.

For example here the application id has been trucanted to 9
digits :

Application Id
--------------------------------
192.168.100.100.51400.110616151

instead of the correct 12 digits for a client coming from a ip
address with a smaller total number digits in the address field:

Application Id
--------------------------------
8.10.181.214.51421.110616151506
