Problem IC77238 | Status: Closed |
A trap may occur when dropping a structured data type when we hit a problem with system catalog look-up.
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
When dropping a structured data type, system catalog look-up needs to be done to identify database object dependency on the data type. If something goes wrong during the system catalog look-up, then a trap may occur as a result. Here is part of the call stack when the trap occurs: <StackTrace> -----FUNC-ADDR---- ------FUNCTION + OFFSET------ ... 0x00002B42A6CCD4CC sqlrrSqlCode + 0x00e2 (/home/regress3/sqllib/lib64/libdb2e.so.1) 0x00002B42A56C0C1E _ZN16sqlrlCatalogScan13checkForErrorEv + 0x01bc (/home/regress3/sqllib/lib64/libdb2e.so.1) 0x00002B42A56C30FF _ZN16sqlrlCatalogScan5closeEi + 0x003d (/home/regress3/sqllib/lib64/libdb2e.so.1) 0x00002B42A6F3A622 _Z18sqlrl_ck_tv_col_rtP8sqlrr_cbPhsS1_sib + 0x06f0 (/home/regress3/sqllib/lib64/libdb2e.so.1) 0x00002B42A6FE74CB _Z8sqlrldryP8sqlrr_cbPhsS1_sS1_shbbbRs + 0x123f (/home/regress3/sqllib/lib64/libdb2e.so.1) 0x00002B42A546701D address: 0x00002B42A546701D ; dladdress: 0x00002B42A425E000 ; offset in lib: 0x000000000120901D ; (/home/regress3/sqllib/lib64/libdb2e.so.1) 0x00002B42A5462559 _Z20sqlnq_drop_db_objectPP8stknode_i10actiontypePhP3loc + 0x05c9 (/home/regress3/sqllib/lib64/libdb2e.so.1) 0x00002B42A77A8BC1 _Z12sqlnp_smactnP8sqlnp_cbi + 0x093d (/home/regress3/sqllib/lib64/libdb2e.so.1) ... </StackTrace>
