product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
db2pd will fail whenever db2nodes.cfg file has hostnames and netnames, but the netnames are different from the hostnames. db2pd will get confused when the netname does not have the same IP address as the corresponding hostname, because it expects hostname and netname to be the same. The following error message will be generated: $ db2pd -dbp 130 -tablespaces -db SAMPLE Unknown error(s) occurred while processing -member or -host option
