SQL0303N is returned when selecting values of zOS data types TIMESTAMP_TIMEZONE We dont get the error in V9.7 FP1 CREATE TABLE TBL1 ( ID INTEGER ,TMSTZ_12 TIMESTAMP (12) WITH TIMEZONE ,TMS_12 TIMESTAMP (12) ) db2 select TMSTZ_12 from TBL1 TMSTZ_12 ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- SQL0303N A value cannot be assigned to a host variable in the SELECT, VALUES, FETCH or assignment statement because the data types are not compatible.
