product: | |

Problem description: | |
When local database codepage is different from remote database codepage, the data might be truncated. For example, the codepage of local database is 937 and the codepage of remote database is 1208. That means DB2 need to convert data from 937 to 1208. In DB2 trace, you could find ... 1648344 exit DB2 UDB National Language Support sqlnlscpcv cei (2.3.56.27.2) pid 884760 tid 6684 cpid 958544 node 0 sec 85 nsec 359822716 rc = 0x870F00BC = -2029059908 = SQLO_BUFFSMALL The error happens because it's not big enough to accomodate the data expansion in different codepage environment. | |
