This APAR will improve lock handling in long running transactions with large number of locks (millions) when the following conditions met: - It is a long running transaction with large number of locks (millions). - There are lots of compilations during the transaction where the compilations do not acquire catalog locks, such as queries referencing only Declared Global Temporary Tables | |
