DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC78626 | Status: Closed |
KEYWORD CONNECTCODEPAGE CAN BE PUT TO THE DB2CLI.INI VIA ODBC GUI "ADD CLI PARAMETER" DIALOG, BUT IS IGNORED AT EXECUTION TIME
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
The CLI/ODBC configuration keyword ConnectCodepage appears in the "Add CLI Parameters" list in the Advanced Settings tab of the CLI/ODBC Settings in the ODBC Data Source Administrator (db2cli.dll driver). If you enter a value for ConnectCodepage then an entry will appear for it in the DB2 CLI/ODBC initialization file db2cli.ini. But any value you enter for ConnectCodepage has no effect when you connect to the data source. This APAR change is to remove the CLI configuration keyword ConnectCodepage from the "Add CLI Parameters" list in the ODBC Data Source Administrator.
