Local Fix:
Set statement monitor switch to OFF (DFT_MON_STMT) and make sure
that the statement monitor switch is not turned on for the
sessions (db2 get monitor switches).
Note that db2top -s Statement option has Statement Monitor
switch turned on by default so using db2top to monitor
statements will make the system vulnerable to this APAR.
available fix packs:
DB2 Version 9.7 Fix Pack 6 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows
DB2 Version 9.7 Fix Pack 7 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows

Solution
Upgrade to DB2 Version 9.7 Fix Pack 6.
Workaround

that the statement monitor switch is not turned on for the
sessions (db2 get monitor switches).
