DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC79644 Status: Closed

REDISTRIBUTE CALLED USING ADMIN_CMD FUNCTION RETURNS SYNTAX ERROR IF TABLE
ONLY OR TABLE FIRST OPTION IS USED

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description:
If Redistribute is called using the ADMIN_CMD and the
redistribute command contains a TABLE FIRST or TABLE ONLY the
following syntax error is returned:

SQL0104N An unexpected token "END-OF-STATEMENT" was found
following "FIRST".
Expected tokens may include: "EXCLUDE". SQLSTATE=42601

The interpreter handles the EXCLUDE option as required even
though it's optional. Calling redistribute without a TABLE
option does not hit this problem.

This only affects REDISTRIBUTE called through ADMIN_CMD. Calling
REDISTRIBUTE from the command line does not have this problem.
