Problem description: | |
This problem is known to occur during dropped table rollforward recovery. A typical call stack may show : pdLog sqloDiagnoseFreeBlockFailure(SMemFBlk*) sqloDiagnoseFreeBlockFailure(SMemFBlk*) sqlofmblkEx sqlprecm(sqeAgent*,SQLP_LSN8*,SQLP_LSN8*,unsigned int,unsigned long) sqlprUndoPhaseTblSpace(sqeAgent*,SQLP_DBCB*,unsigned int*,SQLB_POOL_ID_LIST*,bool*,bool*) sqlpForwardRecoveryTblSpace(sqeAgent*,unsigned short,unsigned int,char*,int*,int*,int*,unsigned int*,SQLB_POOL_ID_LIST*,int) sqlpprfr(SQLP_PDB_RFW_SQP_RQST*,SQLP_RFW_RPLY*,sqeAgent*,SQLB_PO OL_ID_LIST*,int*,sqlca*) sqlpPdbRfwRouter(sqeAgent*) sqleSubRequestRouter(sqeAgent*,unsigned int*,unsigned int*) the db2diag.log would report the following 2 typical messages : FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, data protection services, sqlpALR_LoadUserBuffer, probe:350 DATA #1 : <preformatted> Buffer is too small.
