DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC80225 Status: Closed

POSSIBLE VERY SLOW PERFORMANCE WHEN CALLING SQLGETCONNECTATTR WITH
ATTRIBUTE AS SQL_ATTR_GET_LATEST_MEMBER.

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description:
When an application calls the CLI (Call Level Interface)
function SQLGetConnectAttr with the Attribute parameter as
SQL_ATTR_GET_LATEST_MEMBER, it might be very slow.

That is because DB2 calls the system function getaddrinfo which
might be very slow.

This APAR fix is to remove an unnecessary call to the system
function getaddrinfo.
