DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC80379 | Status: Closed |
ADD VMSTAT -P IN DB2COS_PERF ON SOLARIS
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
In Solaris system, pi/po columns from vmstat include Executable/Anonymous/FileSystem. In AIX/HP and Linux, we check pi/po column for evidence of system paging, however in Solaris, pi/po column shows the number including both process pages and file system pages. So in the current db2fodc code, we only capture "vmstat" output, and the pi/po will be misleading in Solaris since it doesn't only show process paging.
