DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC80737 | Status: Closed |
Unnecessary checking For temporary tablespace container size inhibits redirected restore.
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
When there is a need to do tablespace redirect restore from backup image into a new database, restore needlessly checks for temporary tablespace container size in backup and fails if the sizes of temporary tablespaces being restored is not large enough. This requires customers to have huge disk space to accommodate temp space usage if customers have large temporay tablespaces defined and prevents customers to restore the data that is needed to be recovered.
