DB2CKUPGRADE DOESN'T DISPLAY ERROR MESSAGES ON AIX |

| Problem description: |
db2ckupgrade is a tool that must be run as the instance user ID.
If you try to execute db2ckupgrade as root you should get an
error message.
e.g. running db2ckupgrade as root
root@machineA:/mnt/ese> ./db2ckupgrade
./db2ckupgrade:
/mnt/ese/db2/aix/utilities/db2ckupgrade/bin/disp_msg: not found
After applying the fix, you will see the following error:
DBI1051E You cannot execute this program as root.
Explanation:
This program can only be run under a non-root user ID.

Login as an user ID other than root, and issue the command
again. |
