product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
A response file based silent upgrade install failed, because the keyword OLEDB_GUID is specifed in the response file, and its value was already registered on the system. The error message in the install log file is: The value specified in the response file for DB2_OLEDB_GUID conflicts with a value that is already registered on this computer. You can either specify a new value, or remove this keyword and a value will be generated for you.

Local Fix: | |
The solutions for this problem are: (1). Comment out the keyword: OLEDB_GUID, in the response file, so that a unique value will be generated by the installer; or (2). Modify the value of the OLEDB_GUID in the response file.
