DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC82433 | Status: Closed |
ON UNIX, DB2PD -MEMSETS DOESN'T REPORT ADDITIONAL SEGMENTS FOR APPLICATION MEMORY (APPCTL) AND DBMS
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
Starting in version 9.5, DB2 shared memory areas can grow dynamically by adding on new IPC segments (UNIX). db2pd -memsets reports the additional segments correctly for database memory, but misses the added segments for DBMS and Application Memory (AppCtl). This only affects the ability to map an OS shared memory segment to a specific DB2 memory area. db2pd -memsets still reports correct statistics (eg. Committed memory) for the overall memory area (DB2 memory set).
