DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC83424 Status: Closed

"DB2PD -SORT" ONLY RETURNS INFO FOR SORTS THAT OCCUR WITHIN A
COORDINATOR AGENT, IN DPF AND INTRAPARALLEL ENVIRONMENTS.

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 950 - DB2
Problem description:
in a DPF or Intra-parallel enviornment, the "db2pd -sort"
functionality only returns information for sorts that occur
within an Applications Coordinator Agent.

In DPF and intraparallel environments an Applications
Coordinator-Agent will spawn Sub-Agents to distribute work
(either across to other database partition or within the same
database partition). When a sort operation occurs within these
Sub-Agents they are not reported by db2pd -sort.
