DB2 - Problem description

DB2 does not archive logs after changing from LOGRETAIN to DISK until the
database is recycled and this may cause a hang.

Problem description:
DB2 does not archive logs after changing from LOGRETAIN to DISK 
until the database is recycled and this may cause a hang 
situation. 
 
when DB2 hits a disk full issue with LOGRETAIN on, changing from 
LOGRETAIN to DISK cannot make DB2 start to archive logs until db 
is recycled. 
 
The disk full issue may cause dual log array full,  so you can 
see the following message indicating the problem that dual log 
array is full and DB2 does not archive logs.
