DB2 does not archive logs after changing from LOGRETAIN to DISK until the database is recycled and this may cause a hang situation. when DB2 hits a disk full issue with LOGRETAIN on, changing from LOGRETAIN to DISK cannot make DB2 start to archive logs until db is recycled.
