Problem description:
Compiling a query that references an inlined SQL function in a 
LIKE pattern expression fails with the following error: 
 
SELECT * FROM T WHERE C1 LIKE SQLFUNC(C2) 
SQL0901N  The SQL statement failed because of a non-severe 
system error. 
Subsequent SQL statements can be processed.  (Reason "Unknown 
function 
protocol".)  SQLSTATE=58004
Problem Summary:

Move the SQL function reference into the FROM clause, for 
example: 
SELECT * FROM T, TABLE( VALUES( SQLFUNC(C2) ) ) F(P) WHERE C1 
LIKE F.P
