DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC84325 | Status: Closed |
DB2DSDCFGFILL WILL NOT ALWAYS GENERATE PROPER DB2DSDRIVER.CFG FOR DCS ENTRIES.
product: | |
DB2 CONNECT / DB2CONNCT / A10 - DB2
Problem description: | |
When using the db2dsdcfgfill utility on an instance based client, which contains a database, node and DCS directory, it is possible that the command will not generate all the proper keywords for a particular database or data source name for a db2dsdriver.cfg file. The problem is specific to certain DCS entries. For example the INTERRUPT_ENABLED DCS parameter should generate a keyword in the db2dsdriver.cfg called InterruptProcessingMode. However in certain cases this parameter is not found when it should be and so the keyword is not generated.
