Problem description: | |
Using MON, MONTH, DAY, Dy in the format string in TO_TIMESTAMP or TIMESTAMP_FORMAT can affect the performance of the query due to excessive calls to sqlnls_fmblk_callback or sqlnls_gmblk_callback driving the contention on the memory latch higher thus affecting the overall performance of the query. This issue does not happen in DB2 v95 or lower. | |
