FIXPACK ROLLS BACK DURING TSA UPGRADE DUE TO HAVING A PERMANENT LICENSE INSTALLED AND A TRY AND BUY LICENSE ON THE IMAGE
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2
Problem description: | |
If a permanent license is installed for TSA and the program will be updated via the fixpack installer, it shouldn't complain about the image having a try and buy license. This triggers a rollback for the DB2 installer. Instead, the TSA should be updated without checking the license. To fully use the updated TSA, you should apply the permanent license, available from Passport Advantage post DB2 install.
