| Problem description: |
Current method to delete DB2 pages from the Cluster Caching
Facility (CF) doesn't scale as the size of the Group Buffer Pool
(GBP) increases due to the fact that the entire GBP must be
traversed in order to find pages corresponding to the object the
DB2 member is trying to remove.
This APAR fix enables a CF optimization which keeps the pages
corresponding to each DB2 object in a linked list which can be
traversed in order to delete the object instead of scanning the
entire GBP. |
