The Oracle reference for the getaddrinfo is 6847733 This apar is fixed in V9.7 Fix Pack 7 and Fix Pack 8, however when the Oracle Solaris patch is installed, the current fix in Fix Pack 7 and 8 does not behave correctly. This has been reported as apar IC95179 to be addressed in Fix Pack 9. So until apar IC95179 has been fixed, the advice is not to install the Solaris patch. | |
