DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC85355 | Status: Closed |
Performance degeneration with API db2GetRowPartNum
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2
Problem description: | |
If db2GetRowPartNum function is called, then performance degeneration can be observed directly without any other trigger points. DB2 changed variable DB2_RUNTIME_DEBUG_FLAGS from default static to support -IMMEDIATE option which will make the variable to behave as dynamic when this option is supplied. Reading dynamic variable from client is expensive and this leads to performance degeneration.
