This issue is critical in terms of customer's migrating from oracle to DB2 will need to modify their scripts, if they have bind variables of type NUMBER and used with EXIT command. CLPPlus EXIT command returns always 0 when used with Bind Variable of type NUMBER. for example: variable exit_value number; declare v_dummy integer; begin :exit_value:=9; select col01 into v_dummy from (select 1 col01 from dual); end; / exit :exit_value | |
