DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
In a VARCHAR2 enabled database, a query may return wrong results when a basic predicate compares a VARGRAPHIC value with a CHAR value. For example, the following query should return one row but returns zero rows instead: create table T( VG vargraphic(10), C char(2) ); insert into T values ( U&'\00C4', U&'\00C4' ); select * from T where VG = C;
