Problem IC86193 | Status: Closed |
SQL8007W WARNING SEEN DURING CONNECT WHEN BOTH LOCAL TRIAL LICEN SE & VALID DB2 ZOS SERVER-SIDE UNLIMITED CLIENT EDITION IS USED
product: | |
DB2 CONNECT / DB2CONNCT / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
Issue: For clidriver, even though the server side license is activated using db2connectactivate and connects fine, if a trial license is present, the warning SQL8007W is thrown. Basically this warning should be thrown only if we are not able to connect through server-side license or it is incorrect.

Local Fix: | |
1) ignoring the warning, because despite the warning message the application will still be able to connect after the trial license has expired, provided that the server has a DB2 Connect Unlimited Edition for System z license; or 2) removing the trial license by removing trial license file and nodelock file from /license directory for ODBC and CLI driver
