DAS may crash with similar stack trace as below on Windows: ----- ... : ntdll!KiRaiseUserExceptionDispatcher+0x3a ... : KERNELBASE!CloseHandle+0x13 ... : kernel32!CloseHandle+0x41 ... : db2dasrrm+0x7a97 ... : DB2DASAPI64!db2dasCreateDASThread+0x2ec ... : DB2OSSE64!OSSHThread::create+0x48d ... : MSVCR80!endthreadex+0x47 ... : MSVCR80!endthreadex+0x104 ... : kernel32!BaseThreadInitThunk+0xd ... : ntdll!RtlUserThreadStart+0x21 ----- - This problem can be occured on any platform and stack traceback may vary. - No specific problem reproducible scenario has found. - The reason of crash might be a thread tried to close a handle that was invalid or illegal to close. - One of the potential reasons might be closing it twice. - We plan to fix it by catching the exception and logging it in db2diag.log. So no more crashes will happen. | |
