DB2IUPDT IS FAILING TO CONFIGURE TEXT SEARCH IN EXPC FOR WSE INSTANCE |

| Problem description: |
db2iupdt is failing to configure text search in EXPC for WSE
instance (which is a default type) as follows.
C:\SQLLIB\BIN>db2iupdt DB2 -u user,password -j
"TEXT_SEARCH,servicename,portnumber"
DBI1234E The DB2 instance update is not supported for the
instance
DB2. (The original instance type is
WSE. The instance type to be updated is
STANDALONE.)
Note: This problem does not occur when creating an instance of
WSE type on ESE.
If the DB2 Text Search server is already configured, db2iupdt
with TEXT_SERARCH option is not required. |
