DB2 - Problem description

A HOST STRUCTURE DECLARED IN SQL DECLARE SECTION GENERATES ERRORS DEPENDING
ON A NAME OR A LOCATION.

Problem description:
In Embedded SQL (.sqc), depending on a location or a name of a 
host structure in SQL DECLARED SECTION, DB2 precompiler 
generates SQL0008N errors even though the code has no syntax 
error.

Solution
DB2 v9.7 Fix Pack8 onwards ESQL/C allows the users to specify 
the typedef names in all type of patterns.
