DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC87359 | Status: Closed |
REDUCE INPUT PARAMETER BLOB SIZE OF THE DB2 MONITORING UDFS
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
Following UDFs have input parameter "XMLDOC BLOB(100M)": MON_FORMAT_XML_WAIT_TIMES_BY_ROW MON_FORMAT_XML_COMPONENT_TIMES_BY_ROW MON_FORMAT_XML_TIMES_BY_ROW MON_FORMAT_XML_METRICS_BY_ROW Calling these UDFs multiple times - especially within the same SQL statement - can cause memory issues. Eventually this can lead to error SQL0930N - There is not enough storage available to process the statement.. With this APAR we will reduce the BLOB size of the input parameter and therefore reduce the memory footprint when calling these UDFs.
