DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC87628 | Status: Closed |
ALTER FUNCTION STATEMENT CAN FAIL WITH SQL0104N WHEN EXECUTED VIA DB2.NET OR CLI
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
DB2 for z/OS v10 supports an "ALTER FUNCTION" statement that can contain multiple semi-colons. When such a statement is sent by the DB2.NET provider or by the CLI driver, the SQL statement is truncated up to the first semi-colon. This can cause an SQL0104N (syntax error) from the server.
