Problem IC87856 | Status: Closed |
DB2PD -STACK ALL OR DB2FODC -HANG FULL ASK FOR THE DB2SERVICE PASSWORD SINCE IC69982 ON HP-UX
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2
Problem description: | |
The following message is displayed on HP-UX when db2pd -stack all or db2fodc -hang full are used: "The -stack all option has been temporarily disabled on this platform. Running this command may require a large amount of memory and cause system paging. Please see APAR IC69982 for details." As the memory issue is fixed when the following HP-UX patch is installed: PHSS_41496 - HP-UX 11.31, the commands should work on this system and do not display any message asking for db2service password.
