DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC88373 | Status: Closed |
Catalog node failure can lead to application and database staying up causing -1229 for subsequent connections
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2
Problem description: | |
An application can be created on a database without the catalog node dependency reflected on the application. This can lead to the application not being interrupted when a catalog node failure occurs. The application can in turn keep the database (which is marked as SQLENODEFAIL) up on one or more nodes, which causes other connection attempts to return -1229.
