db2look -m may fail with SQL0305N error. This can happen when trying to mimic column statistics for NULL columns. db2look succeeds if -m option is not used. | |

Local Fix: | |
As a temporary workaround, follow the following steps: 1. Open partial populated db2look output and navigate to the very end. 2. The last table for which column stats are updated is the one having NULL values in its statistics. 3. Run runstats command on that specific table to populate the statistics. ex: db2 runstats on table <tabschema>.<tablename> NOTE: Any runstats option can be used. 4. Run db2look again. Note: Step 3 and 4 maybe repeated as there may be other tables having similar issue. | |
