CREATE PROCEDURE statement returns SQL0401N when it contains GET DIAGNOSTICS statement where ROW_COUNT variable type is decimal, which is the documented data type. CREATE PROCEDURE sqlprocg (IN deptnbr VARCHAR(3)) LANGUAGE SQL BEGIN DECLARE SQLSTATE CHAR(5); DECLARE rcount DECIMAL(31,0); UPDATE PROJECT SET PRSTAFF = PRSTAFF + 1.5 WHERE DEPTNO = deptnbr; GET DIAGNOSTICS rcount = ROW_COUNT; END DB21034E The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was not a valid Command Line Processor command.
