When using Visual Studio 2008 and entity framework, the following exception is thrown when an attempt it made to generate an Entity Data Model from the database: An exception of type 'Microsoft.Data.Entity.Design.VisualStudio.ModelWizard.Engine.Mo delBuild erEngine+GenerateSSDLException' occurred while attempting to update from the database. The exception message is: 'An error occurred while executing the command definition. See the inner exception for details. ERROR [IX000][IBM][IDS/UNIX64] Corresponding column types must be compatible for each UNION statement. The same procedure works fine with Visual Studio 2010. | |
