The REDISTRIBUTE operation (with NOT ROLLFORWARD RECOVERABLE and INDEXING MODE REBUILD options) does not free up physical disk space occupied by index objects on "sender" partitions, even though some of the index info that were occupying disk space had now been moved (redistributed) to other partitions. | |
