Problem description: | |
In rare scenario casting XML atomic type into one of SQL character types may lead to severe exception, in the worst case scenario an instance can be brought down. FODC could be generated. This type of casting is used for example by XMLTABLE function. If stack is available, the sqlriXMLCastXsStringToSQLShortString function is present one of the first at the top of it. e.g. <StackTrace> -----FUNC-ADDR---- ------FUNCTION + OFFSET------ 0x000003FFF8AE8316 ossDumpStackTrace + 0x0102 (/home/db2pcf01/sqllib/lib64/libdb2osse.so.1) 0x000003FFF8AE354E _ZN11OSSTrapFile4dumpEmiP7siginfoPv + 0x00d2 (/home/db2pcf01/sqllib/lib64/libdb2osse.so.1) 0x000003FFFB6957D2 sqlo_trce + 0x0702 (/home/db2pcf01/sqllib/lib64/libdb2e.so.1) 0x000003FFFB7300B6 sqloEDUCodeTrapHandler + 0x016a (/home/db2pcf01/sqllib/lib64/libdb2e.so.1) 0x000003FFEC409DF0 address: 0x3ffec409df0 0x000003FFFBEA3002_Z36sqlriXMLCastXsStringToSQLShortStringP8sqlr r_cbP10 (/home/db2pcf01/sqllib/lib64/libdb2e.so.1) 0x000003FFFBEA3738 _Z13sqlriXmlToSqlP8sqlrr_cb + 0x05d0 | |
