product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
DB2 can crash intermittently. When it crashes a DB2 trap file is generated within an FODC folder in the DB2 DIAGPATH. The trap file will contain a call stack as follows: <sqloCrashOnCriticalMemoryValidationFailure> <sqlommgt.C:1774> <SQLO_MEM_POOL::diagnoseMemoryCorruptionAndCrash> <sqlo_mem_standard_pool.C:1854> <SQLO_MEM_POOL::MemTreeGet> <sqlomtre.C:341> <SQLO_MEM_POOL::allocateMemoryBlock> <sqlo_mem_standard_pool.C:1660> <sqlogmblkEx> <sqlommgt.C:2237> <sqlerGetFMPIPC> <sqlerFmpCommon.C:408> <sqlccGetIPCs> <sqlccipc_srv.C:1185> <sqlerAllocFmpIPC> <sqlerFmpEngine.C:6836> <sqlerAddFmpToPool> <sqlerFmpEngine.C:2390> <sqlerGetFmpFromPool> <sqlerFmpEngine.C:1932> <sqlerInvokeFencedRoutine> <sqlerFmpEngine.C:794> <sqlriInvokeInvoker> <sqlriudf.C:7052> <sqlricall> <sqlriudf.C:1852> <sqlriSectInvoke> <sqlri_exe.C:1004> <sqlrr_process_execute_request> <sqlrr_sql.C:1567> <sqlrr_execute> <sqlrr_req_sql.C:836> <sqljs_ddm_excsqlstt> <sqljsexe.C:1397> <sqljsParse> <sqljspar.C:887> <sqljsSqlam> <sqljsqam.C:2190> <sqljsDriveRequests> <sqljsqam.C:3076> <sqljsDrdaAsInnerDriver> <sqljsqam.C:1277> <sqljsDrdaAsDriver> <sqljsqam.C:1052> <sqeAgent::RunEDU> <sqle_agent.C:4052> <sqlzRunEDU> <sqlz_edu_obj.C:35> <sqloEDUEntry> <sqloedu.C:3456> Another call stack which points to the same issue would be as follows: <sqloQueryProcessByHandle> <sqloproc.C:5257> <sqlerIsFmpValidForUse> <sqlerFmpEngine.C:3662> <sqlerFindPoolFmp> <sqlerFmpEngine.C:3838> <sqlerGetFmpFromPool> <sqlerFmpEngine.C:1753> <sqlerInvokeFencedRoutine> <sqlerFmpEngine.C:794> <sqlriInvokeInvoker> <sqlriudf.C:7052> <sqlricall> <sqlriudf.C:1852> <sqlriSectInvoke> <sqlri_exe.C:1004> <sqlrr_process_execute_request> <sqlrr_sql.C:1567> <sqlrr_execute> <sqlrr_req_sql.C:836> <sqljs_ddm_excsqlstt> <sqljsexe.C:1397> <sqljsParse> <sqljspar.C:887> <sqljsSqlam> <sqljsqam.C:2190> <sqljsDriveRequests> <sqljsqam.C:3076> <sqljsDrdaAsInnerDriver> <sqljsqam.C:1277> <sqljsDrdaAsDriver> <sqljsqam.C:1052> <sqeAgent::RunEDU> <sqle_agent.C:4052> <sqlzRunEDU> <sqlz_edu_obj.C:35> <sqloEDUEntry> <sqloedu.C:3456>
