DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2
Problem description: | |
In DPF environment, when a SQL statement meets the following conditions, compiling it can take a long time or run out of memory (SQL0101N) 1. Two tables are joined together using a lot of equality predicates. 2. One (or both) of the tables is a derived table that is derived from a query that contains a group by clause, and such group by clause have a lot of group by columns. 3. Some (or all) of the group by columns participate in the equality join predicates. For example select ... from (select ... from T group by <a lot of columns>) as T1, T2 where <a lot of equality join predicates>
