DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC90679 | Status: Closed |
MQT NOT CONSIDERED FOR REWRITE MATCHING IN INSENSITIVE SCROLLABLE CURSOR QUERIES
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
MQTs are not considered for rewrite matching in insensitive scrollable cursor queries. This may result in missed opportunities in performance optimization. NOTE: Retrieving result set of queries using scrollable cursors has performance overhead. Even with MQT routing, performance may not be as good as non-scrollable cursors queries. Scrollable cursors should be used only when required.
