Problem description: | |
when ./installFixPack fails with the following error, trace of installfixpack showed it was trying to access WPAR to run the db2greg command. Error was a "false" error and the real error was the failure of the backup of the existing installation when it found a file missing. No such file or directory sh: /opt/IBM/db2/V9.7/bin/db2greg -updservrec installpath=/opt/IBM/db2/V9.7,service=DB2\!version=9.7.0.5,fixpa cknumber =5,timestamp=1362245964: cannot create A major error occurred during the execution that caused this program to terminate prematurely.
