DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC92573 Status: Closed

SEND SIGINT, [CTRL]+[C] TO DB2PD MAKES NO NEW CONNECTION

Problem description:
db2 seems to hang by following steps. 
 
Problem Reproducible Steps: 
  1. db2start 
  2. db2sampl 
  3. db2 connect to sample 
  4. ps -ef | grep $USER | grep db2sysc | grep -v grep | awk 
'{print $2}' 
     --> note PID 
  5. db2pd -memblocks pid=<PID> 
  6. Hit [Ctrl]+[C] before above db2pd returns all output. 
  7. db2 connect to sample 
     --> will not respond/return 
 
Note: 
- It can be reproduced on Linux and HP-UX. 
- It can not be reproduced on AIX and Solaris. 
- Affected version and fixpack, any fixpack in v10.1, v9.7 and 
v9.5.
