DBMS_JOB.SUBMIT() MIGHT FAIL WITH SQL0551N "DB2IM090" DOES NOT HAVE THE REQUIRED AUTHORIZATION OR PRIVILEGE |

| Problem description: |
DBMS_JOB.SUBMIT() does not react as ADMIN_TASK_ADD() in terms of
authorities to run a scheduled job.
DBMS_JOB.SUBMIT() systematically submit jobs as instance owner
and thus, should it not have the proper execute permissions,
will receive SQL0551N "DB2IM090" does not have the required
authorization or privilege to perform operation "EXECUTE" on
object "<object_name>". LINE NUMBER=1.
SQLSTATE=42501
This error will be raised regardless of the SET SESSION
AUTHORIZATION setting. The authorization will wrongly be
checked against instance owner. |
